Typographic exploration of "Where letters come from." The concept is to show that letters come from forms found in nature. The individual letters are arranged to make these shapes and accompanied with a picture of that element.
This is a travel brochure and poster designed to showcase the wonderful things you can discover when you travel there. The specific patterns chosen for these pieces were created to capture the feel of the culture and their aesthetic.
Freelance piece completed for the Potomac Pedalars of DC. They presented me with an outdated brochure that they wanted to see updated and requested a new design for a banner. I walked them through some general knowledge of creating and producing banners and brochures, as well as, printing procedures and landed on an outdoor weather resistant option and a perfect paper choice for their brochure.
Since they are based in the Nation's Capitol choosing a color palette of red, white and blue seemed obvious and would also flow with the large banner's concept to show movement like the American flag. The banner is 5ft. x 3ft. and would be hung outside at events. The flowing banner with the stars shows movement in the wind just like the cyclist experience on their bikes.
Wax On Wax Off
Freelance work completed for Wax On Wax Off, a mobile detailing business located in the DC Metro area.
The logo's letters were designed to play a part in completing the car graphic above while tying the entire logo together.
Natural Inquirer is published through the Forest Service and teams up with other agencies to include stories and information from a plethora of scientist. It is a middle school science educational journal.
